A design for a Van Alen Institute exhibition about new urban public spaces. Projects were divided into five themes: The Fun City, The Healthy City, The Cultured City, The Connected City and The 24—Hour City. A single gesture – the wiggle - creates a series of discrete and varied environments for the themes, along with a stage for events and a lounge. The wiggle was created from a sinuous band of fabric, manipulated to create openings, windows for video screens and areas to gather and sit.
